This course will be scheduled for 40 hours to include 8 evening sessions, with 1 make-up class as needed, and one Saturday skills day. The curriculum includes classroom instruction and 37 practical skill sets throughout the presentation. Candidates successfully completing the entire course and all of the skills will receive a certificate from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will also present a Wildland Firefighting class on Tuesday evening November 13.
Students must have serviceable turn out gear and SCBA- 1st night of class.
Facial hair that impedes proper mask seal will not be permitted, final determination will be made by the course Lead Instructor.
Class Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 16th – November 15th, 2012, 6-10PM.
Final Practical Skills: Saturday, November 17th, 2012, 8AM – 5PM.
Hosted by the Polk County Fire and Rescue Training Association and Morrisville Fire and Rescue at Morrisville Station #4, Highway 13 and 215 next to the Brighton Saddle Club.
